Update 15/10/2020: Following on from the recent government update, we are delighted to advise that Sherlock: The Official Live Game is still open and ready to accept households in a private experience, and our outdoor game is open has #RoomFor6.

However, if you are unable to fulfil your booking due to the new household restrictions, we will re-schedule free of charge or issue a gift card valid for 24 months. Please email [email protected] if this is the case.

We continue to follow COVID-19 secure guidelines and will continue to monitor government guidance and rules closely.

We’ve been awarded the Visit England We’re Good To Go quality award mark which means we have demonstrated that we are adhering to the respective Government and public health guidance, carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and have the required processes in place.

Any email received will be responded to in the coming weeks, as we bring staff back to the venue.

Following the UK Government’s June announcement, and the health and wellbeing of our staff and customers being paramount, we have taken the initial steps to re-opening on 11 July 2020, including the introduction of our new operational procedures.

We are also relaxing our no-rescheduling policy – meaning you won’t have to miss out during this period and have also introduced a refund policy.

What happens next?

Your health is our top priority and we have put special measures in place to keep all guests and staff safe.

Online booking only from either our website or our approved trade partners.

Teams will play the game exclusively in their own groups and will not play the game with any others.

To assist with our enhanced cleaning policy, each player should wear a face covering whilst playing the game and use the hand gel provided in each room.

There will be new social distancing measures at the venue. Prior and post-game, teams will stay at a 2 metre distance from staff and other teams.

Staff members will be wearing the necessary PPE.

We have an enhanced surface and cleaning routine throughout the venue and each game room will be cleaned after use.

Our bar, the Mind Palace will remain closed for now.

TGIN reserves the right to alter your booking time or date if the minimum team numbers have not been reached. We will contact you a minimum of 48 hours before your game time.

Sherlock Experience guarantee*. Flexible rescheduling changes up to 24 hours before your booked experience. If you or anyone in your group is experiencing Covid-19 symptoms, we will work directly with you to reschedule your game for any period up to 12 weeks from your initial date. *Terms and conditions apply.

No cancellation or rebooking fees apply for reschedules.

We recognise that the new government restrictions are making it harder for you to plan your attendance at The Game is Now. We are delighted to confirm that if you need to reschedule your game due to local government restrictions, then we will happily re-schedule you free of charge, or issue you with a gift card valid for up to 24 months. Due to staffing requirements, and the last-minute nature of these restrictions, full cancellations are not permitted and will be charged a 100% cancellation fee.
